Can I bring my own food?

Yes, you can bring your own food. We know a good picnic has plenty of refreshments so we encourage our guests to bring food and drinks. If you prefer to just show up, we can arrange all the refreshments! See our current food & beverage offerings under Add-Ons. We also offer catering services for larger groups.

Do I need to clean up after the picnic?

No, please don’t! All you have to do is show up! Leave the rest to us after your picnic ends.

How do I add additional time or guests to my picnic packages?

Please use our Large Group Reservation form for parties with 2+ guests or 2+ hours. An additional guest is $60/person for up to parties of 8 (larger parties have a different rate) and additional time is $100/hr.

What is the cancellation/ reschedule policy?

We understand that life happens! Notify us 1 week in advance for a partial refund of 85% of the full amount. A 15% non-refundable service fee will incur if you do cancel for any reason. Beehive Picnic is not responsible for refunding the full amount.

We also do offer rescheduling up to 3 months of your original picnic date. Please let us know if you do need to reschedule 1 week in advance if you do choose to reschedule. Otherwise, we might not be able to accommodate.

How far in advance should i book a picnic?

As far in advance as you can! The earlier you book your picnic the more of a possibility we can accommodate you.

Where does my picnic take place?

We’re located in San Francisco and have scoped out the best spots for luxury picnics around the city. You can choose from our current locations around the SF Bay Area. We can also host in-home/backyard and at private venues. If you had a different location in mind, please contact us.

Can we leave prior to our scheduled end time?

Yes, we just ask that you provide us with a 15 minutes notice. Please do not leave before we arrive, you are responsible for all picnic items until our team returns to the location.

What happens if I’m running late?

Your picnic starts at the scheduled time you selected during the booking. Thank you in advance for respecting our time as we respect yours, so please plan accordingly.

We understand life gets in the way, so if you are running late, contact us ASAP. We offer a 5 minute grace period but later arrivals are subject to late fees.

Is alcohol allowed?

We do not offer alcoholic beverages. It is the responsibility of the Client and Guests to check alcohol laws of any venue or public space being used for one of our picnics.

Most public parks and beaches prohibit alcohol consumption. Beehive Events takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties occurred.
